« Eclipse ( Forest Orchestra ) » est une nouvelle sculpture imaginée par Léo Fourdrinier pour la première édition de la triennale d’art « GIST ZENNEVALLEI » et réunit les éléments narratifs chers à l’artiste: l’évocation poétique des étoiles, le corps mécanique et la vibration du vivant.

Dans la mythologie crée par l’artiste, la moto retournée associée au cercle revêt un sens précis: elle évoque le soleil (dans le jargon des motards, on « fait un soleil » lorsque l’on passe par-dessus le guidon ou se retourne). Depuis 2019 Léo Fourdrinier collabore avec Arthur Le Saux, astrophysicien, et élabore des oeuvres en écho avec les recherches scientifiques de celui-ci. L’astre solaire associé au véhicule propose une dimension romantique et sensuelle. La moto raconte une histoire d’amour possible entre deux individus, bercés par la lumière du jour ou de la nuit. Ici la lumière environnante est reflétée par le miroir qui intègre le paysage dans l’oeuvre.

“Eclipse ( Forest Orchestra )” is a new sculpture created by Léo Fourdrinier for the first edition of the “GIST ZENNEVALLEI” art triennial, bringing together the narrative elements dear to the artist: the poetic evocation of the stars, the mechanical body and the vibration of the living.

In the mythology created by the artist, the upside-down motorbike associated with the circle has a precise meaning: it evokes the sun ((in the vocabulary of motorcyclists, you “make a sun” when you go over the handlebars or turn around). Since 2019 Léo Fourdrinier has been working with astrophysicist Arthur Le Saux, creating works that echo his scientific research into the luminous vibration of stars. The solar star associated with the vehicle suggests a romantic and sensual dimension. An idea of freedom. The motorbike tells the story of a possible love affair cradled by the light of day or night. Here, the surrounding light is reflected by the mirror, integrating the landscape into the sculpture.
