Les œuvres Lucid Dream (2026) présentent une amphore antique moulée en plâtre, comprimée entre deux sphères en inox poli miroir. La déformation résulte d’un protocole de fabrication précis : lors de la coulée, la pression des sphères contraint le moule en silicone et imprime sa forme dans la matière encore souple. Cette compression met en tension des qualités opposées — mou et dur, surface et impact — tout en évoquant un phénomène proche du glitch numérique. Plus explicitement politique, la pièce met en scène un rapport de force : l’amphore, forme archéologique associée à la conservation et à la transmission, se trouve prise entre deux pressions qui interrogent la fabrique du savoir — comment une vérité se construit, se hiérarchise et s’impose. Dans cet écrasement apparaît aussi une dimension presque organique, où la matière semble céder sous la contrainte, introduisant une tension ambiguë entre domination et abandon.
The Lucid Dream works (2026) present a plaster cast of an ancient amphora compressed between two mirror-polished stainless steel spheres. The deformation results from a precise fabrication protocol: during casting, the pressure of the spheres constrains the silicone mold and imprints its form into the still-soft material. This compression brings opposing qualities into tension—soft and hard, surface and impact—while evoking a phenomenon close to a digital glitch. More explicitly political, the work stages a relationship of force: the amphora, an archaeological form associated with preservation and transmission, is caught between two pressures that question the production of knowledge—how a truth is constructed, hierarchized, and imposed. In this crushing of forms, a nearly organic dimension also emerges, as the material appears to yield under constraint, introducing an ambiguous tension between domination and surrender.
